Residents in Glynn and six other coastal counties affected by Hurricane Irma have only two weeks left to apply for federal disaster assistance that may cover temporary housing, essential home repairs, replacement of personal property and serious disaster-related needs not covered by insurance. FEMA assistance may include grants to help homeowners and renters. Residents are urged to register as soon as possible. The deadline to apply for assistance is Tuesday, Nov. 14.
