Joint Water and Sewer Commission Director Jimmy Junkin spoke to the Golden Isles Republican Women’s Club yesterday and brought them up to date on the utility’s work. Junkin said the Commission is looking at a base rate charge for water and sewer in addition to the current usage rates. He emphasized no decision has been made on an increase. The commission will hold town hall meetings before any decisions on rates are made.
